Uncle Josh, Aunt Katie and Cousins, Collin and Hadley's Visit to Vancouver

Dinner at Grandma Horrocks's House

Leah and Mason we're excited to see Collin and Hadley. They both wanted to feed Hadley a bottle and Mason and Collin played with cars.

Walk to the Park by Grandma's House After Dinner

Hike at Lewisville Park

The kids enjoyed splashing in the puddles (especially Collin) and we all enjoyed a really nice hike. The rain even let up just long enough for the hike to be beautiful.

Hike Around Lackamas Lake

It was such a beautiful day today and Joe was away on a campout with the Boy Scouts, so I decided it would be a great day to get out of the house and go on a hike. Me and my mom took the kids around Lackamas Lake and it was a lot of fun! Leah and Mason love hiking.

Mason is pointing at two ducks perched on a log in the lake.

The kids stopped at every side trail to get to the water. By the end of the hike, they were pretty wet and Mason was only wearing his underwear and a shirt.

The kept going in the water deeper and deeper until they were soaked:)

The kids are looking at Grandma Camp's dog, Rez

Leah tried walking on this log, so Mason had to try it too but he would only do it with Grandma's help

Beautiful scenery

I had to get a picture of Mason's dirty undies

Beacon Rock

Here are some pictures from our hike up Beacon Rock today. This is one of our favorite places to hike and the kids couldn't wait to get going this morning. The pace was slow today because Mason wanted to hike to entire way up all by himself and he did! It was a beautiful day, but pretty windy and cold up at the top. We love hiking and this is the start of regular hikes trough the summer. It was so nice to get outside today!

On the Way Up

This is a picture from the windy, windy bottom. We didn't anticipate that it would be so cold! Joe had to head back to the car and grab whatever sweatshirts and coats that he could find, so we all looks a little mismatched. Notice that Leah is gratefully wearing Masons coat that is several sizes too small!

A very excited Mason and Leah running to the top.

Pictures from our first rest along the way.

Mason was making us a bit nervous on the way up. He seems to have no sense of danger and kept getting too close to the edge!

Leah couldn't go as fast as she wanted to, so she had to wait for Dad and Mason a lot along the way.

Almost to the top!

On The Windy Top
We made it up and Mason walked the whole way by himself! It was pretty cold and windy at the top, so we didn't stay long.

Lunch on the way down
Since it was too cold and windy on the top, we found an nice alternative along the trail. We had a beautiful view and even got to see a couple of trains go by!
