Sunday, May 4th-Left Rexburg and Drove to Salt Lake City

We went to church with Brent and Brenda in the morning, came home and had a yummy lunch and then packed up the car and headed off to Salt Lake City. I took this picture of Joe and Brent before we left. These superhero tattoos are from Brent's lunch meat. Joe got the Iron Man and Brent got the Iron Monger (Good always defeats evil as you can see by the size of the arms :-)

We stopped by Pocatello to see the house where Joe's dad grew up. No one was home, so we just took a few pictures. I think Joe really wanted to see the inside because he hadn't been there since he was young.

We finally got to our hotel in Salt Lake City around 7pm and then we took the restless kids swimming. The only thing I forgot was my swimsuit, but Dad is more fun anyways:)

We all slept well!

About Janell

Janell's greatest happiness in life comes from being a wife and mother. She has greatly enjoyed homeschooling all three children during the last five years. While homeschooling is an education in itself, she desires to one day go back to school and pursue a career in nursing.

About Leah

Leah is an extraordinary person and she loves and is kind to everyone. Leah is also very creative; she enjoys going to art class and doing any kind of artsy project. She is a wonderful big sister and helps a lot with her baby sister. We almost never catch her without a book in her hand and she is almost always reading several books at a time. Leah loves all animals and has a particular fascination with horses. She dreams of owning a horse ranch in Wyoming or Kentucky when she grows up.

A fun fact about Leah is that she is the only extravert personality type in our little family (ENFP to be exact).

Leah also just finished Suzuki Violin Book 1!

About Mason

Boys like Mason are few and far between. He very sweet, logical and a quick thinker (he is a really smart kid). He watches his dad very closely and tries to be just like him. He enjoys building Lego creations, coloring, playing his violin, watching Star Wars movies, paying soccer, dressing up as his own super hero creations, and playing with Leah. He has very quickly picked up Math and Spelling/Reading this year and he has been so excited about it! His goal is to pass Leah up in all subjects:) He especially enjoys Science; I am always finding his experiments all over the house.

A fun fact about Mason is that he is sure his wife will know a lot about babies (he loves babies) when he gets married and he says he wants to be either a dentist or a doctor when he grows up. Mason's Personality Type is: ISTJ-just like his dad!

About Cecilia

Cecilia is truly the princess of the house and she seems to have everyone under her spell:) She is sweet and very affectionate; she loves to give hugs and kisses, especially to her daddy when he comes home from work. A fun fact about Cecilia is that she is our only baby with sparkly blue eyes.

Cecilia is a very observant baby and I can always see the wheels turning in her head. I am always surprised at what she learns and is able to figure out. She may seem quiet, but watch out! She is our loudest baby. I honestly think she feels as though she needs to make a place for herself in our family and she wants all the attention on herself:) She usually becomes unconsolable when she is not being held by her mom. That means no babysitters anytime soon......
